Inside the Studio

Finally, I have more pictures to share... Welcome to my new sunroom art studio and office, I love it so so much. Peek inside! Here is the full tour. :)

The painting in the background is Nene Dreams. It's inspired by the endangered Hawaiian goose which is their state bird. It's a special custom piece I'm working on.  I'm about to add a border of beautiful Hawaiian flowers like plumeria, hibiscus, ginger and heliconia around the edges.

I set up a little painting rack by the window...

Here's where my paintings dry... I used bookshelf cabinets and bins for storage. Love all the space it creates and they don't need much wall space. (As you can see the room is mostly windows!)

Iko cat sleeps on the loveseat all day.  And he claims the other chair too.. ;)

Peeking through the kitchen window...

Jorellis cat especially likes my fabric and sewing table. (Update- our sweet baby passed after 18-1/2 years. Now we have adopted Gina cat, the newest addition to the studio)

Just started this sweet English wedding ring quilt block with teal blue and white since to symbolize our ocean/coast wedding :) The quilt will have lots of coastal print squares too.

If you're ever visiting the Oregon coast, make sure to check out Quilter's Cove. Love this place!

Looking out to the garden...

And.. here is my office. I'm lucky to have space for it in another room down the hall.

I'm usually covered in pets when I work...   Here are my guys. Love ♥

  1. I envy you for having this beautiful space in your home. Who would have thought that you can have a sunroom, an art studio, and an office in one place? This is really brilliant! It looks so cozy that even if you have a lot of things out there, you can still feel the warmth of the place. Anyhow, it’s good to have those huge windows so that you can appreciate your outside view!
